# Ladder System (Leaderboards)

Ladders/seasons will last roughly one month, but the exact start/end times will vary from season to season.  

When a ladder ends, rewards are given out based on the player's performance from Encounters and missions.  The more you play the higher you will likely be on the leaderboard. 

After rewards are given, all players' progressions/levels, gears, ships, and upgrades are wiped. Players will of course retain all of their NFTs. 

A new ladder will start shortly after the previous ladder ends. Every player restarts at level 1 and with an empty inventory, except for all NFT items. 1000 credits will be given at the start of each season (enough for 1 virtual ship).

Ladder prizes may include (but are not limited to): Trooper NFTs of all rarities, NFT gears, FGL tokens, and blend tickets.  Amount of prizes will vary every month and will scale based on two criteria: 1 - total number of active players and 2 - total amount of FGL spent in-game.  All NFT prizes are newly minted which adds to the circulating supply.
