Encounters

Encounter System

Encounters are real-time combat based instances. All encounters will be single player solo encounters. (Multi-player encounters will not be available, but multiplayer events will be added in a future expansion. Events and Encounters will be separate things.)

But what exactly IS an Encounter? You will fight waves of AI troops on a small RTS style battlefield. If you are able to defeat all enemies, bosses, objectives, etc then you will win the applicable rewards. If you lose, your encounter will immediately end. If you lose, you will keep all things you have won up until this point. These modes will be changing over time. No single encounter will remain the same forever. Each level will be different from every other level.

Encounter Access Key(s) as well as FGL tokens are usually required to start an encounter.

Encounter Access Key(s) can be obtained from Hacking Missions.

Player(s) will have 1 chance to win once entering the encounter. If you are defeated, you lose immediately. Credits, ocurium, reputation, robot parts, artifacts, mini boss reward and gear loot harvested up until this point will be kept by the player.

Certain Tiers will require either a minimum or maximum level of gears, or Encounter keys.

Encounters come in different tier/difficulty levels. Each tier has a different cost and also gives out different levels of rewards. Robotic encounters are similar, but they only can be performed using Qwitt (NFT - Qwitt is otherwise known as an underling or robot). You can win robot parts (which let you start building/minting additional robots) or you can win artifacts by playing robotic encounters.
